Changes they are a coming to two of the last four daytime soap operas on air. It has been one heck of a week for Days Of Our Lives and General Hospital consisting of some serious hirings and firings. Both Days and GH ditched their current head writers in favor of some not so well known writers. DOOL has hired two writers from Passions while GH promoted someone from within. Although I don’t disagree with the decisions to get rid of Dena Higley and Bob Guza I do have to wonder though with so many really good head writers out of work why not pick one of them, just a thought. Here is hoping these newbies don’t mess up my shows any more than they already are, after all we are trying to save our soaps right? Along with the behind the scenes changes comes the firing of one of my favorite GH men and return of one of my all time favorite DOOL guys.
