Wow! Simply put...we're happy Keith Olbermann is back.

Call him "biased" or a "bleeding heart liberal" if you want to, but Keith's words supporting same-sex marriage have nothing to do with political party affiliation. Instead they are simply LOGICAL and spoken completely out of LOVE for his fellow citizen, whether they be gay, straight, black, white, yellow, green, purple, or blue.

Following President Barack Obama's speech at a Democratic fundraiser in New York, where he spoke about the SINGLE Republican vote which the state's future of same-sex marriage hinges upon, Keith delivered an intelligent, well-spoken and completely rational statement in support of the bill.

"Every year the margin by which this country supports this grows and within a decade or perhaps less it will be universal in this nation. Period. Ironically, it is not because there is great advocacy for it, but simply out of an inability of younger people in this country to do what older ones still can -- to pretend this matters anymore. It just doesn't. It won't destroy the democracy, it doesn't destroy the family, it strengthens the institution of marriage in its principal premise of fidelity, and it increases the number of people living in stable and loving homes."

YES! Thank you Keith for speaking so frankly and honestly! This isn't propaganda people, it's just common civil rights sense!

Diddy Quietly Settles Civil Suits From The Infamous Club New York Shooting!

Rihanna is once again facing legal trouble for the music video for her single, S&M, just four months after David LaChapelle filed a lawsuit claiming she ripped off his work!

Apparently, 19-year-old Phillipp Paulus has alleged that a sequence in the clip, which featured the pop star held against a wall with plastic wrape and black tape in X-marks, directly rips off a series of fashion photos he did called Paperworld!

They attempted to settle with Universal Music Group, but after the agreement fell apart, Paulus now plans to sue.

His lawyer, Philip Jakober, explains:

"In the relevant video-scenes of the music-video 'S&M' are essentially the basics of the copyright protected achievements and creations of our client."

And Paulus himself asserts:

"Why a worldwide celebrity is not able to afford a creative director, who creates individual concepts and stagings, is incomprehensible to me. While I really respect Rihanna's talents as a musician, nevertheless it is important to respect the creations of others, even young talents, and not to copy their work without legitimacy for earning money with it in order to make money."

Before we begin this review, I feel inclined to mention that I'm really not a fan of the whole fuzzed-out, lo-fi, unbelievably stoned beach pop thing that's going on right now. For me, "buzz bands" rarely ever live up to the ridiculous amounts of hype they're able to generate thanks to the miracle of the internet, but the bands in this awful, mutant genre are some of the worst offenders I've heard in a long time.

How can any judge look at this and STILL release her back to her house arrest sentence?!

She CLEARLY has NO interest in listening to anything but her own spoiled impulses and delusions!

Despite the fact that Judge Stephanie Sautner doesn't think Lindsay Lohan should be periodically tested for drug and alcohol usage since the order expired back in February, the hard-pAArtying actress' probation officer certainly does - because not only did she fail a urine test on June 13th, she refused two prior for narcotics!

According to the probation reported submitted to Sautner this morning:

"Probationer is not making an effort to cooperate."

"Reports from news sources indicate that the defendant had a party at her home on June 12th, 2011. The fact that she was required to submit to a narcotic test the next day, and it was positive for alcohol, verifies that the defendant violated the court's order by continuing to drink. The defendant's behavior indicates she is not attempting to change. Due to her continued behavior, it appears that the defendant does not view being on the electronic monitoring program as a privilege. The defendant should be taken off electronic monitoring, and be ordered to serve suitable time in custody."

Ugh! And the CYCLE continues.

Whatevs. She'll be released soon enough, and then we're sure it will only be a matter of weeks before Lindsay does whatever Lindsay wants, and lands herself back in the courtroom.

Her luck can only stretch SO thin, and she is LONG overdue for a reality check!

So abuse enjoy that booze and nose candy while you still can, gurl!

Yesterday was David’s and my last full day in Detroit and we got to spend it with my parents. In celebration of Father’s Day, Sarah, Mark and David joined me and my parent’s for a nice afternoon brunch at the Woodward Avenue Brewery in Ferndale, MI. Because the W.A.B. is the only place left in the Metro Detroit area with a working old skool photobooth, I wanted to make sure that I took the opportunity to get some photobooth photo of my parents. Everyone too their turn in the photobooth but my parents’ photostrip really turned out the cutest ;)

My mother hates taking photos but with help from my dad, we managed to cajole her into being a good sport. It was nice sharing the afternoon with Sarah, Mark and David, too! We had a great day together. The rest of yesterday was very leisurely and then last night, David and I flew home. The flight was a bit delayed but we managed to get home safe and sound.

Tonight is a big day … David and I will be making our way to the Staples Center in downtown LA to see Britney Spears LIVE in concert at her Femme Fatale Tour! I am really looking forward to seeing the final show with my own eyes. Tonight is going to be a fantastic night … I can already feel it! Woot!!
